Dr. Mohr began practicing in Tigard, Oregon in 2007 with a focus in sports medicine. He became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) in 2007 and continued his post doctoral education by a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP) in 2010. In June of 2009 Dr. Mohr and his wife Kate opened Acceleration Sports Medicine and have established strong community ties.
In 2012 Dr. Mohr completed a volunteer rotation at the United States Olympic Committee Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also, in 2012 he chaired the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians Annual Sports Science Symposium and was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Taking an active role in the profession and community has always been a part of Dr. Mohr. During his time on the ACBSP Board of Directors he has served as the chair for the marketing committee and as President.
Dr. Mohr comes from an athletic background growing up playing soccer, basketball and baseball as a youth. His love for soccer ended up winning out, focusing on soccer from middle school on. He continues to play soccer with local adult leagues and coaches his daughters soccer teams. Dr. Mohr works outside of the office as a team physician for Pacific University (OR), Crossfire Soccer Club and as medical director for Uberthons races.
Dr. Mohr has been married to his wife Kate since 2007, they had their first daughter Alina in 2008, their second daughter Ellie in 2011 and their third daughter Addie in 2017. Ragnar and Floki are their are their two dogs, both boxers. When not at the office or covering sporting events, Dr. Mohr enjoys time with his family playing in the backyard, watching sports, at the dog park or playing games at home with his daughters.
